Regional office remediation and enforcement case files.

As part of its mandate to protect drinking water supplies, the Division of Water Supply has overall supervisory authority over municipal and district water systems pursuant to MGLA c 111, ss 159-174. The program is implemented at the local level under regional offices of the Dept. of Environmental Engineering by the various regional engineers for resource protection. This series was created to monitor compliance with clean water standards and to resolve violations of code due to systems failures or other emergencies.
